Danny O. Jacobs, MD, MPH, FACS Scholarship in the School of Medicine – Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used to award scholarships to students who reside in or have matriculated from rural communities within the United States, and who may ultimately return to rural areas throughout the United States to practice medicine. As defined by the Donors, rural communities are those having a population of 5,000 or less.
