Richard D. Muma and Rick A. Case Presidential Equality Scholarship

Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used for scholarship support for a student who is in good academic standing and who demonstrates financial need, as determined by the FAFSA application.
Preference will be given to a student who is a member of Allies in Health, an active student organization at the University. Involvement in this organization will remain a preference criterion of this scholarship as long as participation in the organization remains open to all University students.
Scholarship recipients will submit to the scholarship committee a 500-word typed statement expressing their involvement in furthering the causes of the LGBTQ+ community.
Preference will be given to a student who is enrolled in the Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) program in the School of Medicine. If there is not a PAS student who qualifies in any given year, this scholarship may be awarded to a student who qualifies, with the preference criterion indicated above, in any of the University schools.
