Dr. Oddis Calvin Turner Nutrition and Metabolism Endowed Scholarship

Dr. Oddis Calvin Turner Nutrition and Metabolism Endowed Scholarship – Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used to provide scholarships for the greatest needs of students with academic excellence enrolled in the School of Health Professions. Preference shall be given to students who meet the following criteria:

- Enrolled in the graduate degree program in the Department of Nutrition and Metabolism.
- Demonstrate financial need and academic merit in accordance with UTMB requirements.
- Commitment to working in undeserved communities after obtaining his/her degree.
- Actively involved in community service.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Recipient may be an entering student at UTMB or a returning student.
