Michael Gilles Purgason Memorial Scholarship

The Michael Gilles Purgason Memorial Scholarship – The funds shall be used to provide scholarship support for Ph.D. student in good academic standing and who are enrolled in the Graduate Program in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health at UTMB. In addition, student(s) must display a solid character and demonstrate care for his or her colleagues, which should be addressed through reference letters. Students should also demonstrate academic and research excellence and must show evidence of participation in activities and career goals which align with service to students and/or the community.
